Inside these chilling walls she must call home
She shivers in repeating desperation
And there her biggest fear beacons her to come
The box of her reluctant adoration
It plays (the sound of angels)
It breaks (her mind to pieces)
She has no choice but to accept what it gives and takes
(It waits) What does it hold?
(It calls) What will the box provide?
Khomorrah’s aching spirit
Enslaved to find out what’s inside
The fear of the unknown draws the child’s tears
Intoxicating pain taints the child’s mind
Pacing the pedestal she must weigh her fears
Against the hope of all the good she craves to find
The joy and praise that reigns tonight
Can turn to cold and merciless days
Of fear and plight
Facing her constant nightmare
In fear of
One more in a thousand leaps of faith
For the pain she must once again revere
She must survive the day
She must give in
The child’s heart is racing
Her nerves come marching in
The box, the strain
Khomorrah’s ball and chain
Must open for her hunger to enchain
It’s done, the box of faith has opened once again
But nothing seems to have reciprocated
It can’t, the box always provides a bearing gift
So from troubles she has not been extricated
But something’s wrong
Something tells her she is not alone
From the spherical periphery
of her vision shadows taunt her misery
Inside the chilling walls that she must call her mind
The shadows repent the peace she holds
And there her biggest fear tortures her inside
The box that mocks her as her pain unfolds again
Feel her strain again
Let the shadows reign
Whispers: (A thousand shadows emanate from the box, taunting the child and the fear she harbors. She had no choice, for the box is the only source of nourishment, while also being the giver of darkness. Her mind is about to break, she must do something. She must stare into the light emanating from the box and face the fear that’s haunted her from the inception of her memory)
It’s time to fight, to look inside
And stare into the burning ravenous light
And stare into the burning ravenous light
Let the light burn all these infernal shadows away
And may blind eyes find these lost shadows of the underworld astray

Her eyes, blind as injustice
From the burning light in the box
Out of sheer desperation
But it worked, she is now free at last
Yet she’s been cast
To play the rogue
Her eyes can’t see things as before
Her eyes can only see emanations of light and shadow
Shades of good and evil
And shades of bitter life and death (life and death)
Gifted, unaware of how she
Has become a beacon of light
Cold [she stares], faint [she walks]
Lost [in expanding fields]
Looking for something to
Dine[sometime], pick[something]
Ingest [now that freedom tastes] bittersweet
Searching for light, for harmony
In shadows, in pure obscurity
The idle predator dresses in white
’Til the prey walks across its ravenous sight
When the calm emanation of white turns to black
And it pounces the prey that will never fight back
Her hungry eyes remain set
On the hills of her overwhelming and crushing freedom
When she discovers a faint but luscious smoke
Rising up the horizon
Running as fast as the wind through the meadow
Lost in the blessing of longing and hope of a change
Someone somewhere must be willing to
Finally take her in
She reaches the luscious smoke
And finds a tribe of barbarians glowing in white
And one in particular lending a much needed hand
No longer alone, no longer oppressed
No longer engulfed by fearful unrest
She stands by a fearless protector at last
Hoping the huntsmen will share their crest
Hoping she’ll become one of their own
Hoping they’ll take her in as one of the rest

Oh sweet child
You must forgive the halo of doubt among them
Oh sweet child
Forgive the pains the trial of the descendants will hold in store for you today
So keep all your fears away or they will come
Once you are inside the cave of shadows and truth
You’ll understand the reasons why we let the gods decide our fate for us
So go and break the shadows that quake
The good in all the souls and minds alike
And know the burden you tow
Will be the one to bleed salvation and grace
You’ll beat the taunting shadow’s cold embrace
So show them your light
All this time
We’ve waited for the one who’ll see past the mask of pretense
All this time
You’ve been encased in sorrow and isolation
But now it’s time for you take
The trial that will finally make (you one of us)
Goodbye sweet child
[May the gods embrace your soul]
May triumph be yours to take
[And valor to conquest and Break…]
… the shadows that quake
The good in all the souls and minds alike
And know the burden you tow
Will be the one to bleed salvation and grace
You’ll beat the taunting shadow’s cold embrace
So show them your light
Close her in…
It’s been thirty four suns
Has she survived?
It’s time, the trial is done
The gods will have decided for us
If she remains as one of us or as some rotting flesh
Open up the gates and brace for truth
She stands tall, the head of a wolf in hand…
A feat no one else can ascribe… White Eyes is now part of the tribe

Days of vivid grace and
Days of gratitude
Abound for this brave and valiant child but she
Stays in the sidelines and
Stays in the bitter shade of
Safety where her gift remains unused
Done with waiting and
Simply speculating what’s
Done in battle
Against tyranny of kings
Gone are times to pray
To play the prey
Gone are wishes for the
Times to change, it’s time to
Paint the fields (of oppression)
With crimson blood of invasive transgression
Face the time to separate
The good from shadows
By the head that bears the eyes in white
From the void in the abyss
To pastures of the earth
The white eyed child will drain their souls of plight
Planning with her guardian and
Plotting with her kind protector
Her silent inauguration into battle
Waiting for the opportune
Moment for her rise to
Valor and glory
The ink to her story
Brace for the chosen one who sees in darkness
Face the time to eradicate
The shadows from the good
By the head that bears the will to fight
From the void in the abyss
To the shores of battle
The white eyed warrior will drain their souls of plight
And has come shining through the night
The shine under the sun
Of blood of justice flares
The battle has begun
Against the shadows’ glares
Hiding past the leader’s view
She takes her place and awaits her cue
To spring to action and pull the arrow
That will show the world the tyrant’s marrow
She nocks in preparation
But behind him stands the attestation
Of a towering shadow of desperation
His master, the impersonation of hate
The root of his evil pulls on its strings
Attached to the veins of tyrannical kings
Played like a puppet, devoid of their reign
Forever in hands of the impersonation of pain
The sight of one who has lost all control
Begs the beholder for an end
Calls for the death of his poisonous soul
One much too tainted and broken to mend
The eyes of the tyrant have long since died
The fangs of the culprit dig deeper inside
This torture of souls must now desist
The stakes are too high for this arrow to be missed
It’s time to breathe, nock, pull, aim, and FIRE
The tyrant has been slain
The Huntsmen’s throne has White Eyes reign
Grace the time to celebrate
The fearless conquest
By the head that bears the crown of light
From the void in the abyss
To gates of victory
The white eyed savior has drained their souls of plight
And has come shining through the night

Faith, what a curious thing we crave
I believe
That you’re the one who’ll bring the balance back to all of us
Bring the light that beacons back to us
Hey, wipe those tears right off your face
You and I did all we could, but now it’s time for me to die
I knew the risk
As your protector I deterred the shadows from clutching at your wrist
Don’t mourn my soul, don’t worry about me
The gods rejoice for you and smile down upon me
My sweetest friend, my dear Khomorrah
Know my fate you behold
Could never be controlled
You must go on and keep fighting
The enemy within
The burden that they all bear
The darkness that they all have shared as one
Underneath their skin
I know you can see the fading of my light
But now I rejoice knowing you’re alive
Knowing that you’re here and safe to fight
Sweet child, my dearest friend Khomorrah
Bring this cycle of pain and tyranny to an end
Know into the depths you must descend
Alone, for you see what others cannot comprehend
I knew the risk
As your protector I deterred the shadows from clutching at your wrist
Don’t mourn my soul, don’t worry about me
The gods rejoice for you and smile down upon me
My sweetest friend, my dear Khomorrah
Now it’s time for me to finally have to go
Goodbye you sweet child, and may you never cease to glow
My own child now awaits with arms wide open at the gates
So please… Set the people free

Here in this sea of pain
She roams without knowing her way
And the murderous hours of rage
Continuously make her repay
For all the moments she’s lost in vain
The beautiful scenes of her life
All abandoned for struggle and grief for it all
Follow me
Follow this voice, lost wanderer
See what you’ve left behind
Peek inside and bring yourself back to life
Stand and breathe
Follow that voice, lost wanderer
There’s just too much for you to miss
In this world of redemption and wonderful, endless lives
Here in this valley of apathy
Her path to the end seems to grow
And this emptiness carved by her solitude
Seems to never depart from her soul
It’s not too late, my dearest friend,
Turn your back and never return
To the land of hate that seeks the end of your world
Follow me
Follow this voice, lost wanderer
See what you’ve left behind
Peek inside and bring yourself back to life
Stand and breathe
Follow that voice, lost wanderer
There’s just too much for you to miss
In this world of redemption and wonderful, endless lives
And I beg you to open your eyes
So you can see the world around you
As something more than a pointless journey
And a burden to bear
And please see your surroundings
Through the eyes of your joy
And breathe out the demons
You’re meant to destroy
And seize a world worth fighting for

Chapter 7 - Preparations

Standing tall by the river bend
That will bleed to the sea
She ponders
Just as the estuary harbors the fight to break free
The war paint on the benevolent
Glows for her eyes to see
They stand there
And await her command
As they clutch their swords and wield their shields
As they hoist the sails and abandon the fields
She prepares them for what they’ve all awaited for so long
Time has come to hone the spears
To embrace and prepare for the source of their fears
For the true amalgamation of evil may have them live on only through song
Gods, blow the wind to our sails
Men, tip the end of the scales
Rejoice (rejoice), remember this day as we sail to the sun
αἱ σκιαὶ τὴν ἠῶ τέκοιεν (EYE SKEE-EYE TEN EH-O TEEK-TOY-EN)
May the shadows birth the dawn
When her white eyes meets their gazes
Their impulsive souls regain their ground
Hope and valor fills their faces
Even knowing each one of them may be there to drown
Just a child, blind and frail
But the leader the warrior huntsmen all hail
For her eyes see the truth inside
And the shadows have nowhere left to hide
Great White Eyes
We stand by your command
Brave White Eyes
We won’t stop ‘till there’s no one left to stand
Gods, blow the wind to our sails
Men, tip the end of the scales
Rejoice, remember this day as we sail to the sun
αἱ σκιαὶ τὴν ἠῶ τέκοιεν (EYE SKEE-EYE TEN EH-O TEEK-TOY-EN)
May the shadows birth the dawn
Soft is the wind that gently rushes by her cheek
And warm is the sun her soul had long been dying to seek
But this tender embrace is in truth a bitter goodbye
For they sail to the point where the clouds rip the sun right off the sky
My Huntsmen
Hoist the sails and brace for death
Brave Huntsmen
We will fight ’till the shadows take our last breath
Rejoice, remember this day as we sail to the sun
Mark this day as the day the final judgement’s battle has begun

CHARGE!
[Afraid] she stands nose to starboard
Confronting the breeze of the unforgiving seas
[The rain], a cold embrace reminds her
That finding the colossus will likely end in their death
[She] leads the fight now
[She] has the life of the men in her hands
Will they triumph? Or will they meet their cold and imminent grave?
Her soul might tremble
But nothing will stop her from heeding her imminent call
The rotting stench of pure evil’s sight
Ripens all too strong and prevalent
The permeating filth of the Titans will rise
Where the sun meets the horizon
Only she can find them
Only she can eradicate the evils they boast
The poison mankind craves
The ravenous malice that hollows their graves
The source of death
Celestial prowess runs through her veins as one
Posed to conquer darkness
Entrusted with all of mankind’s freedom
There she stands nose to starboard
With arrow in hand
And facing the colossus the risen Titans spawned
Your time has finally come, Your fate calls home
The numerous faces of the being of shadows
All morph and contort as their challenge is met
She rises her arm to call them to action
And so they begin to mount their offense and charge
As they proceed to the call
Arrows begin to fly
To the cry of the white eyed child
The huntsmen do all they can
To fight for their leader and race
They plunge to her call
But how can they quell the beast
When the manifestation rests
Only on the eyes of white
Clouds of death (thicken above)
The cries of huntsmen drowning at sea
(All is lost… all is lost…)
The tempest swallows all below
The huntsmen falling to the endless void
(All is lost… all is lost…)
By the mercy of the gods… all is lost… (… all is lost… all is lost…)
...Unless…
She climbs up the mast
To jump into the mouth of the colossus
To find the core and breathe and nock and pull, breathe, aim and FIRE
The fading leviathan contorts as it fights its demise
The rain falls
The menace of destruction has fallen to the hands of the child
As the towering shadow of evil begins to die
So does the brave child
That sacrificed her life for the tribe
And paved the way for the rest
Brave White Eyes…
We mourn the bravest warrior that’s ever been born
Brave White Eyes…
We languish, we mourn, but she’s given us hope that we’ll all be reborn

The world weeps for the fallen warrior
The loss of a single feather at the end of a scale
While insignificant, it allows the power all to shift
Ever so slowly, and tip towards the bitter end
The world weeps as it entombs its child
Digging deeper into its own wounds
Shutting tight the lid that tops the casket
That forever will remain the keeper of our empty plea for hope
[Float away]
It’s time to close your eyes
[Float away]
And ring the bells of death
Time to hold the chilling hand of death
You’re the one the Titans feared they’d encounter
And now that you have slain this hatred
There’s one remaining foe you have to know
So say hello…
… Hello, it’s been a while
Don’t fret, because I will guide you
Turning back will do no good
It’s high time you understood
The battles that you fought before
Have met their end and will haunt your soul no more
Your peace awaits
But before you meet your god
You must face the prowling shadows
Of the soul the gods forgot
Face the Shadowshifter
Face the reason for our plight
Walk inside and call upon his name
To challenge and abolish the devourer of light
White Eyes, my child, are you there?
Have you been taken?
White Eyes, I prey you heed my cry
And quell the demon rolling through the shadows in the sky
My child, you’ve reached the end
Your arrow has abated the Shadowshifter’s reign
